30 Days of doctor Who - Day 4

Day 4 - Favourite Character Wow - this is a bit tricky. since I've already answered my favourite companion and doctor it seems to bit odd to go for character next. I'll therefore assume that this is a character who is not the Doctor nor a companion. The doctor comes across so many people that it's a bit difficult to choose. I do think, though that the one who stands out has to be Harriet Jones. She was interesting in Aliens in London and World War III. Her choices in the Christmas Invasion were also interesting. But the episode where she really made an impact was the Stolen Earth. That's bravery for you.

Day 3 - Favourite Villain Hm.. How can a villain be a favourite? Oh I know - you don't have to like them.. In that case my favourite villains are the cybermen. They made a great impression in Army of Ghosts/Doomsday. Since them I have seen them in many shapes and forms, and I always enjoy their stories. (Except maybe Closing Time - which annoyingly interfered with all previous cyberman-storie..) The scary thing about them is of course how they used to be humans, and how they somehow still are humans with their feelings removed. Scary stuff, that!

Day 2 - Favourite Companion Of the old who companions it has to be Sarah Jane Smith. She was just great in both the old and the new series. I feel we get to know the companions better in the new series. That may be why my favourite of all time is from new who. I really liked Rose. Martha was a bit boring, but nice enough. Can't stand Amy, but am a big fan of Rory. Donna is however my favourite. She developed during the series from a shouty, obnoxious bride to be and into a real person. Liked how they managed to tie her to the doctor without any romantic or sexual overtones as well. She was also really a woman of action. I like how she would often take charge and work with whomever to solve whatever problem she and the doctor were facing.
