Day 02 ~ Favourite quote relating to GoT. “Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength so it cannot be your weakness. Amour yourself in it, and it can never be used to hurt you.”
Og det er vel alt jeg har å si om året. I alle fall her. 9. Nicolai Houm...
Day 30: Why You Love Torchwood Ok - know I've been a little bit behind on this. All because I'm on holiday at the moment. Went to Cardiff yesterday, and it was wonderful. Reminded me so much of why I love Torchwood! Torchwood is a rehash of a very used concept. It's been done plenty of times in various ways. However Torchwood definitely has something unique about it, and feels like something new all the same. It's weird and funny and quirky. The characters don't always act how you expect them to act, and sometimes they do silly or stupid things as well. It's unpredictable and surprising much of the time. I love the hub and the creatures who live there. I really liked the idea of Captain Jack having his own series and I really like how the two first seasons turned out. They go through so many weird cases and fascinating aspects of life! I love the team, and I most definitely love the characters. There is also the mix between domestic and sci-fi that I li...
Not watching the latest installment. Even so I do still love what came before it to pieces - I think. So here goes: Day 01 - Your favourite Torchwood member Not really all that difficult. Though I like them all, my favourite is clearly Ianto Jones. He is very much a supporting character, and not very developed through three seasons. Even so the viewers can see a definite shift in his personality, loyalties and skills. There is much depth to the character which is never explained or fleshed out. He has the fewest lines of all the characters, but with the way Gareth David-Lloyd plays him, he is able to convey a lot through expressions and body-language. I especially like Ianto’s relationship with Owen and the constant feuding between the two. His argument with Tosh in Countrycide about Torchwood's modus operandi made the episode my favourite one. And last but no least - Ianto and Jack are a nice couple - even though they're not, and their story is engaging - even though it...
